Hubli ; Dharwad students' performance praise-worthy

DHARWAD: Though the rank of Dharwad district has come down to 23 in this year's SSLC results, the performance of the students in leading schools of Dharwad has been praise-worthy. The change of examination pattern has had little impact on these students, if one goes by their achievement.

Sri Manjunatheshwar English Medium High School has registered a pass percentage of 99, with Laxmi Mantur topping the list with 97.44 per cent marks, followed by Sushmita (95.36), Vaishnavi Kulkarni (95.20). In all, 24 students have secured distinction.

Saint Joseph's High School has registered a pass percentage of 98.53 with 33 students getting distinction. Eric Araujo has secured 606 marks followed by Nataraj Maneshindhe (598) and Sneha Pai (595).

A total of 12 students of K E Boards High School in Malamaddi have secured 90 per cent and above. The school has registered 85.44 pass percentage. Manasa Bhat (97.28) tops the list, followed by Sudhanva G S (96.80), Apeksha Deshpande (94.88), Deepak Mudakavi (94.40) and Sourabh Deshpande (94.40).
